Debugging Methods

Steps to troubleshoot when communication failure: -

1. Check if device is powered on by checking the Supply LED.

   1. ON - Go to next step.

   2. OFF - Check supply connection.

2. Check Status LED which indicates that module is working.

   1. ON - Go to next step.

   2. OFF- device is not working.

      1. Restart the device.

      2. Contact our team.

3. Check if RX and TX Leds are blinking when Modbus request is being sent and received.

   1. Only RX led is blinking: - It means that device is receiving the Modbus request but not sending response. Reverify the Modbus configuration and restart the device.

   2. Both Leds are blinking: - Device communicating successfully.

4. Even if communication failure occurs, then contact our team.
